Horizons School to Participate in Transition Hot Topics 2024

Horizons School is excited to announce its participation in the Central Alabama Transition Team and The Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Service’s Transition Hot Topics 2024 event. This event serves as a crucial platform for educators, professionals, and stakeholders to discuss pertinent issues surrounding transitions for individuals with disabilities.

Taking place on 2/28/2024, our Admissions and Transition Coordinator, Martha Loukotka, will be hosting a session dedicated to exploring the realm of Post-Secondary Education and Training. Martha aims to shed light on the opportunities and challenges that individuals with disabilities encounter as they navigate the path toward higher education and vocational training.
