Post-Secondary Special Education Teacher

Madison is from Talladega, AL and is a proud graduate of the University of Montevallo, majoring in Communication Studies. She spent 6 years in Portland, Oregon discovering a passion for nonprofit work, specializing in individuals in housing crises and folks with intellectual disabilities. She moved back home to Birmingham to continue her work and activism on the homefront. She joined the Horizons team so she could be a part of helping young adults with intellectual disabilities learn interpersonal and financial independence. In her free time, she enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering, any new video game, and going to see as many new movies as possible with her partner.
